You might not be familiar with the term, so let's sort that out first. It's similar to what we call product-market fit in the business world. Adjusting it to content creation, content-market fit is your content's ability to meet the needs of your target market and satisfy a strong demand.
Do you see the point? Instead of creating content in a excess, you need to do your research and focus on the demand that clears the market. That's the most efficient way for you. Lo and behold, there are specific building blocks to reach content-market fit.

Once you’re done with testing, define what is required to put your idea into production. If you’re after consistency, you should even out more complex ideas with the ones that are realistic to make. Often, done is better than perfect.
You can even create a rule for yourself on when the idea is good enough to draw the line. Hardly ever will you reach 100% satisfaction. So, 80-85% could be your target, because the gains from then on will be quite marginal and hold back your content creation efficiency.
